FAQs

What is the approach and philosophy of Aprisent Financial Group?

We are your experienced fiduciary partner in independent, comprehensive wealth management. Our mission is to collaborate with clients like you to create, nurture, diversify and safeguard your wealth. We provide fee-based investment management and financial planning services for individuals, families, and small businesses across the Vail Valley and nationwide.

Does Aprisent have a minimum account size? How are you paid?

We have a minimum of $500,000 in investable assets per household.  We utilize a fee-based structure based on a percentage of assets managed

Are we fiduciaries?

Yes, we are fiduciaries.  Much of the team holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.  A CFP professional is ethically and professionally required by the CFP Board to act as a fiduciary, meaning they must put your best financial interests above their own at all times.*

How do you approach investment management and risk?

Our core investment philosophy is to create portfolios that are transparent, tax efficient, cost-effective and liquid.  The amount of risk involved in a client’s portfolio depends on a variety of factors including experience, age, time horizon and liquidity needs.  We strive to have a deep understanding of our clients’ tolerance for risk and reward.

How often will we meet to review my financial plan and portfolio?

We conduct comprehensive reviews at least annually and when significant life events occur.  We may also reach out when major economic events happen or tax laws change

Will you coordinate directly with my CPA, attorney and other professionals?

Yes.  With your permission, we work with your professional team to ensure that we understand your tax situation, beneficiaries and estate plan, insurance needs and more to ensure coordinated and cohesive execution across all domains

What steps do you take to secure my financial data and privacy

Our broker dealer, LPL Financial, continuously monitors for cyber threats and builds security into its platforms through encryption, vulnerability testing, fraud alerts, and ongoing system updates. How do we get started?

Our relationships have four phases: introduction, initial planning, implementation and ongoing relationship. The introduction consists of a discovery conversation to get to know you and your goals.  We follow this with a financial planning session to craft and personalize your financial plan. The implementation phase takes place as you decide to become a client, transfer your assets and we implement your plan. To foster the ongoing relationship, we meet regularly to refine your plan and track your progress. Schedule your complimentary discovery session with us today!
